Blog 10

The book describes in too much useless detail that it takes away from what is going on with the characters of the book. At times it makes it hard to understand what exactly they are going through because the author is spending all his time (losing interest of the reader) describing it. It would give more sympathy for dust bowl farmers if he made it actually do-able to read.

I think that because of his useless describing, he lost the sympathy for the farmers that he was attempting and epically failing to establish.
